My client, a lovely, well-established, and flourishing CA practice in Lichfield, is seeking an Audit Senior/Manager to help deliver audits for a range of clients and supervise and mentor a junior member of staff.
The firm operates from a strong position and is looking for an experienced audit professional to join its ranks. It has a fantastic range of clients across different industries.
We are looking for candidates with experience helping prepare audits for SME and owner-managed companies. Working closely with the partners on larger audits, including consolidations, the Audit Senior will ideally have experience planning, executing, and delivering the audit to Partner level and to clients.
ACCA qualifications would be ideal, but we are open to seeing part-qualified candidates too.
As an aside, if you have AAT and are looking to develop further, the firm can support continuous development and training.
Salary ranges from £26-40k, based on the level of experience.
For this key role you will need:
- Experience from within a notable practice or national firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA/AAT
- Proven experience in conducting audits
- Proficiency in accounting software including SAGE, Xero and Microsoft Excel
