Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team in London. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects within budget, scope, and timeline. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead electrical engineering teams on large-scale projects and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring all project requirements are met.

  • Plan, organise, and allocate resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical projects.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including monitoring costs and expenditures.

  • Develop project schedules, manage timelines, and ensure milestones are met.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and communication.

  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

  • Provide technical leadership and support to engineering teams, ensuring all team members are aligned and effectively executing the project.

  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to identify and resolve issues or delays.

  • Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.

  • Produce and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and other required paperwork.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.

  • Proven track record of managing electrical projects successfully, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building services, and construction practices.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.

  • Full understanding of health and safety standards within electrical engineering and construction.

  • Willingness to work flexibly and travel within London as needed.
