Our client is a leading Scaffolding provider based in Brighton and is looking for COTS Labourers, Part 1 and Part 2 Scaffolders. With a reputation for quality and reliability, they specialise in delivering outstanding Scaffolding solutions for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffolder to join our dynamic team.
You will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe and secure access for construction and maintenance work. You will work on a range of projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
- Interpret and implement scaffold design drawings and plans.
- Inspect scaffolding materials for defects and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of scaffolding structures.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced scaffolders as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a scaffolder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Valid CISRS card (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) or equivalent certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations related to scaffolding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
