Thermal Insulation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Thermal Insulation Engineer to join our team, working on exciting projects in both Scotland and London. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, installing, and maintaining thermal insulation systems for a wide range of applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and design thermal insulation solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

• Ensure all insulation installations meet energy efficiency standards and reduce thermal energy loss.

• Select the appropriate insulation materials based on the specific project requirements.

• Perform site assessments to determine insulation needs and provide recommendations.

• Install and maintain insulation systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to insulation systems.

• Work closely with engineering teams to integrate insulation systems with other project components.

• Provide advice and technical support to clients on insulation systems and energy efficiency improvements.

• Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and progress updates for clients and internal teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in thermal insulation engineering or energy efficiency.

• Strong knowledge of insulation materials, energy conservation, and sustainable building practices.

• Experience with thermal insulation systems in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

• Ability to carry out thermal imaging and insulation assessments on-site.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel between Scotland and London as needed.
